Nature Conservancy of Canada

Position / Placement: Conservation Volunteer

Go the extra mile and spend the day helping the Nature Conservancy of Canada pull one mile of fence on the Rachel Agnes Hayes Conservation Lands property! You will have the opportunity to learn more about wildlife friendly fencing and explore this incredible area!

We're looking for a few volunteers who can help us remove  barbed wire fence, pull out fence staples and roll barbed wire while walking along the fence line from 9am - 3pm on July 12, 2019. This will allow wildlife to move more freely through the property and reduce wildlife injuries caused by fences. As you complete this, relish in the silent thank-yous from the wildlife that struggle to move across this property while enjoying the fresh air and the gorgeous vistas.
