You will be assisting on our A2 unit with an evening recreation program on Thursday evenings, from 6:-7:30 pm (approximately).
You could be helping with board games, bingo, baking, cards, etc.
Training and support is provided.
You will be assisting with our pastoral program, portering our residents to and from hymn-sings and chapel.
These programs run Tuesday and Friday from 2-3 pm., so you will need to be available from 1:30 - 3:30 pm on those days.
You will be assisting with various recreational programs, depending on your availability. These programs are generally run during the day and on weekends. We ask that you be patient and gentle with our seniors.
The weekend front host volunteer greets families, visitors, other volunteers and staff. They provide friendly first point-of-contact for the House.
