The 24-Hour Phone, Text, & Webchat Help Line provides immediate support to those impacted by sexual violence, as well those affected by domestic violence, mental health, isolation, and loneliness. As phone line workers, calls will be forwarded to your phone where you will provide support, information, and referrals. Using a web-based system, text & webchat volunteers answer incoming text or webchats from the comfort of their own computer; therefore, you will need to have access to your own computer or laptop with an internet connection. Volunteers at CASASC mainly provide support, information, and referrals to those affected by sexual violence which may include emergency or historical situations. Therefore, applicants must be very compassionate, reliable, and supportive. Shifts are 12am-8am, 8am-4pm, and 4pm-12am. We are currently accepting applications for all positions but are looking for those able to cover the 12am-8am shift time. You will need to be 18 years of age with a clean criminal record check.

The work we do is completely remote; therefore, you are able to volunteer from the comfort of your home regardless of where you live. Training will be provided remotely with flexibility for your schedule.
