We are looking for eager people who are sociable to volunteer here at Extendicare visiting some of our residents on a 1:1 basis. This can be social visits, playing board or card games or paint/ colouring with them.
If you are able to commit to 1 hour weekly or bi-weekly we would like to meet with you to discuss this opportunity in more detail.
You can build a bond with a resident, chat, learn something new from them, help brighten their day and put a smile on yours and their face.
We do require a criminal record check from the last 6 months.
