STRESS RELIEF FOR TEENS

Do you often feel stressed out, anxious or overwhelmed? Do you have trouble sleeping? Would you like to learn techniques to help with exam stress and/or anxiety before a sporting event/ artistic performance? This workshop just for Teenagers will introduce calming yoga movements and soothing breathing practices to help you learn how to shift your mood, relax, sleep better, and find your Zen again! Students will go home with a handout so they can take what they have learnt away with them. No prior Yoga experience is required, nor do you have to be in any way flexible to take this workshop. If you can get up and down off the floor unassisted, then this class is for you! No mat? No worries – we have mats at the studio for students to borrow. Please wear comfy clothing, and bring water and a light snack if you wish. Workshop is limited to 20 students, so sign up early to avoid disappointment.
Helen Morgan has been practicing yoga for 25 years, and teaching for the last 7. She has 3 children – 2 of them teenagers, and one almost! She currently teaches several classes a week in Caroline, a Mindfulness class at the YARD, and children’s Yoga at Spruce View School.
