In the past 8 years Bull Skit has been providing comedy to Red Deer and the Central Alberta area! We have provided a multitude of shows from our main stage show called Bull Skit Comedy that features brand new sketch, improv, short videos, and musical guest.  To our other shows that are improv based Bull Prov, Calf Skit, Get White trashed, Shabby Abbey, Christmas Carol, and many more!

Positions Description & Tasks Responsibilities:

• Researching and writing volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments
• Generating appropriate volunteering opportunities and role descriptions.
• Provides orientation to all volunteers. 
• Raising staff awareness of the role and the function of volunteers.
• Ensuring there is appropriate support and training for volunteers.
• Promoting volunteering (internally and externally) through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns.
• Interviewing and recruiting volunteers and ensuring they are appropriately matched and trained for a position.
• Monitoring, supporting, motivating and accrediting volunteers and their work.
• Celebrating volunteering by nominating volunteers for awards and organizing volunteer recognition events.
• Keeping track of volunteer hours worked. 
• Maintaining databases and undertaking any other administrative duties.

Skills Required:

• Excellent oral and written communication and public speaking skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent multi-project, time management, and computer skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and database management.
• Creative and innovative problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills.

Time Commitment 10 hrs/week
